2017 Round 2 - Spartans vs Oilers

The Spartans opened 2017 with the same approach as the 2016 season. RUN. THE. BALL.

With a hard-hitting defense to protect any lead, the Spartans committed to the run. Volar and Musallam scoring 2 rushing TD’s each against an undermanned Oilers squad.

Special teams contributed with a 65-yard punt return, ensuring the Spartans we’re in control throughout the match.

The Oilers held strong in the second half, conceding only 2 TD’s while scoring their first TD of the season, via a Tedmanson scramble.
