Round 1: Spartans vs Hogs
A solid outing by the club with a game much closer than the scoreline would indicate, a great showing from returning veterans and rookies was unfortunately let down by a few untimely penalties resulting in a losing scoreline of 26-6. MVP's for the game are Jake Lamming on defense who performed strongly at Defensive Tackle shutting down runs up the middle and getting into the backfield to put pressure on the QB on pass plays, and Angus Henderson who beat his defender and showed great hands scoring some fantastic gains at Wide Receiver.
